GO FORWARD IN THE STRENGTH OF JESUS.

Now Is the time! GO FORWARD

In the book of Exodus, we read the story of the Israelites and we see the miraculous way that the LORD delivered them from the hands of their enemy.

After Joseph died the bible tells us that there arose a Pharaoh that had no clue who he was and as a result, the Israelites found themselves in a condition that moved them to cry out to the LORD. And the bible says that their cry went up to the LORD and guess who the LORD was going to use to help lead the Israelites out of the hands of their enemy. If you guessed Moses, you are very correct.

Yes, Moses the baby that was put in a bassinet and on the water. Can you imagine how hard it must have been for Moses’s mum to let go of her son? The thing about Moses’s birth is that GOD had a plan even before Moses was born. Yes, GOD’s amazing plan was that Moses was born to be a leader and a Prophet. However, all this did come to the surface until many years later.

Moses, as we know him was adopted by Pharaoh’s daughter and he was brought up in the palace. However, he still had a heart for his brothers and sisters even before realizing that the LORD would use him in such a mighty way.

Of cos, we know how the story goes. One day Moses killed an Egyptian that was trying to mess with his own. And as a result, he fled and hid for so many years. At this time one may think that the calling on Moses’s life had been canceled. But that was very far from the truth, the plan of the LORD was still going to be fulfilled through his son Moses.

So, the children of the Israelites cried to the LORD. The LORD goes to Moses and Moses has this amazing encounter with the LORD. Yes, the burning bush experience, and after a long talk with the LORD and the LORD still did not let Moses have his way with all his excuses.

Moses finally realizes that the LORD wasn’t joking and that he wants him to go back to the same place that he had run away from and tell the wicked and mean Pharaoh to let the children of GOD go. Hmm, that must have been frightening for Moses.

But stay with me cos it gets even better. After the LORD removes all the insecurities that Moses had been carrying for years.

Moses now embarks on this journey back to Egypt to deliver the message from GOD and to tell Pharaoh to let the people of GOD go.

As we know after a lot of hesitation on Pharaoh’s part, he had to let the children of GOD go. Why? you may ask. He had no choice because this battle did not belong to the children of Israel but to the LORD. And after the LORD showed up, Pharaoh had to let go.

Hallelujah! And I prophesy over you that whatever has held you bound must let go today in the mighty name of JESUS.

Now I am about to land with this amazing story. Now Pharaoh lets go of the people of Israel and the people packed their stuff and some more. Some more you ask? Yes, so much more because when the Israelites left Egypt the LORD gave instructions and the people of Egypt gave the Israelites so many going away gifts hint “gold”.

Ok now, this is where the story gets very steamy. Now the Israelites have left, and they are following their leader Moses and guess what? They find themselves in a dilemma. In front of them is the red sea and behind them is the wicked Pharaoh. Say what now?

So, Moses cries out to the LORD in anguish because the people are frightened and he doesn’t know what to do.

Now here is the part that I was trying to get to all this time. GOD responds to Moses, but it wasn’t an answer that I was expecting and you know that if I wasn’t expecting this answer Moses probably wasn’t expecting it either. Are you ready for this?

Exodus 14:14-16 NLT

14 The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

Escape through the Red Sea

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! 16 Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.

Exodus 14:14-16 KJV

14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

16 But lift thou thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

Wait, did I read this correctly? The LORD our Papa says to Moses “Why are you crying out to me”? Tell the children of Israel to keep moving forward.

Wow! Wow! And then the LORD gives Moses instructions on what to do in verse 16

16 But lift thou thy rod,

and stretch out thine hand over the sea,

and divide it:

and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

So beloved I do not know where you find yourself today but the red sea in front of you and your enemy behind you has not taken the LORD by surprise and he is not moved by it. He has given you all that you need to move forward. You have the King of Kings telling you to move forward and he has given you instructions on what to do. You must trust him that he that brought you out of Egypt shall surely path the red sea for you and not only that he is about to do a miracle that will blow your mind. Those enemies that have been chasing you even after the LORD has commanded them to let you go will be destroyed in the red sea and that is after you have crossed over on dry land. The LORD will swallow up your enemies because the Egyptians that you see today you shall see no more.

In conclusion, GOD has heard your cry and he has come down to you today to deliver you. He had come down to you today to destroy your enemies. He has come down today to torment your tormentors. Friends, I do not know what has been troubling you but Our father has come to the rescue. Hallelujah.

Always remember this:

Your obedience is the answer to someone’s prayer. So, the LORD is saying to you today Go forward my child because I have already made a way for you.

Moses’s obedience to go back to the same place he was put to shame was an answer to the prayer of the children of Israel.

My question to you today is: Will you answer the call of GOD in your life?

Will you say YES to Papa even though you feel unqualified for the task?

Saying YES doesn’t mean that all your fears will go away. Remember you are not alone in this. The LORD qualifies the called and he will empower through the HOLY SPIRIT.

They are people waiting on the other side of your obedience.

GOD Bless you.
